Spider Wood Small SW3 (20-30CM)

The wood is acquired from the root section of various species within the genus Rhododendron.

These perennial plants are a type of shrub that grows shallow roots through and sometimes above the soil.

This shrub root garnishes its nickname “Spider Wood” from the unusual formation of its branches often resembling a dead spider.

Our Spider Wood is independantly sourced via a family business. 

This wood is a great addition to any natural setup and can be fullly submerged within water and safe to use in aquariums. 

Please note, these pieces of wood are long lasting helping to keep that natural look over time, this wood also released humic substances within the water known as "Tannins" which will cause water to go a "Tea Stained" colour. They may also have effects on PH levels.
