Commonly found on the waters where the river meets the oceon often refered to as the "Estury" the mangrove tree is a popular plant amongst aquarists specifically the marine side of the hobby in the fact that the plant can uptake nutrients whilst been able to cope with high salinity levels. They are popular plants to use in brackish biotopes but also look great in freshwater or vivariums.
The tons of leaves that fall from each acre of mangrove forests/rivers every year are the basis of an incredibly productive food web. As the leaves decay, they provide nutrients for invertebrates and algae.
These leaves are long lasting helping to keep that natural look over time.

Over the moon with my order, got some mangrove and almond leaves. Not only was the quality of leaves great, but so was the packaging and delivery time. Everything arrived quick and was packed with all recyclable materials. I know where I'll be coming for all my leaves now!
